LJ Hooker Commercial Brisbane’s senior sales and leasing specialist Manoli Nicolas has been named the real estate group’s top performer 2021-22 at its international awards gala held at Cairns.

Mr Nicolas’s expertise across industrial, office and retail property – both sales and leasing – made him the sought-after specialist for everyone from high-net-worth investors to syndicates, owner-occupiers and tenants over the last 12 months.

LJ Hooker’s General Manager, Network, Stephen Mutton congratulated Mr Nicolas on the achievement.

“Manoli has a reputation for results, efficiency and integrity,” said Mr Mutton.

“He’s a complete agent – extremely knowledgeable in all commercial real estate sectors with a very strong appreciation of the different needs of clients.

“He has one of Queensland’s best databases and clients look to him to find the right buyer and tenant to maximise their campaigns.”

Mr Nicolas has topped the Group for sales and leasing results, driven by his round-the-clock work ethic.

Most recently he achieved some outstanding results for sellers:

  • 905 Stanley Street East, East Brisbane – commercial property with development upside: $5.25m;
  • 3850 Mount Lindesay Highway Park Ridge – 1.08ha multi-tenant industrial site: $4.8m.

Mr Nicolas said there was a lot of optimism in Brisbane’s commercial property market.

“Industrial property has been the standout performer with rents for sub-1000sqm properties rising 30-40% in the last 12 months,” he said.

“Many tenants have made the move to ownership on the back of previously record low interest rates. We’re still seeing a competitive leasing market across the city, with a lack of stock the common theme in most regions.”

It’s the second major milestone for Mr Nicolas this year, after he recently notched his 10th anniversary with LJ Hooker Commercial.
