Plans are currently in action for expansion works at Sunshine Coast Airport, which could increase values for those selling land in the surrounding area.
As many investors know, access to key transport services is a main driver for investment in a particular area, so increased interest may be seen along the Sunshine Coast.
In order to ensure the expansion project is a success, a community engagement program has been launched to make sure locals are aware of exactly what is going on.
Sunshine Coast mayor Mark Jamieson said getting people involved is a critical stage in the airport's expansion.
"We have launched a freecall project information phone line and a project-specific email address and we encourage people to make contact with us if they have any queries about the proposed project," commented Sunshine Coast Airport general manager Peter Pallot.
Meanwhile along the Sunshine Coast, a public art program is underway at Noosa Junction station, involving the work of a number of locals.
A total of four unique projection and sound artworks have been installed to reflect the beauty of the local area.
