LJ Hooker celebrates innovation with PCA

By Sarah Lefebvre on Sep 30 2016

LJ Hooker Commercial is proud to continue its sponsorship of the Best Business or Industrial Park category in the Property Council of Australia’s 2017 Innovation and Excellence Awards.

The awards are the pre-eminent industry honours for achievements in the built environment.

Head of Commercial at LJ Hooker, Christopher Mourd said: “Last year’s category winner, LandCorp’s Enterprise Park in Perth’s outer-north, uniquely combined an appealing design with sustainable features across its 182ha development, while DEXUS won the 2015 title for Quarry at Greystanes, which reimagined the century-old Prospect Quarry for the contemporary needs of industrial tenants.

“The influence of such developments extends beyond their own footprint to the wider industry; they can also impact the efficiency and productivity of their local economies. LJ Hooker Commercial supports the Property Council of Australia in celebrating developers that set a new standard in their own field.”

Mr Mourd said the award was pertinent to the group as its nation-wide network dealt extensively with landlords and tenants in premier industrial developments.

“Our sales and leasing agents have a particular appreciation of these assets and applaud innovative design in both aesthetics and functionality,” he said.

Nominations for the awards close on November 30, with the national winner awarded in Sydney on May 5.
