Portfolio auction showcases spectrum of offerings
LJ Hooker Commercial will place 15 properties under the hammer as part of its end of financial year national portfolio auction event.
From inner-Sydney cafes and restaurants to boarding kennels in South-East Queensland, the portfolio event will showcase a diverse spectrum of investment and owner-occupant opportunities across Australia on June 28.
Managing Director of LJ Hooker Commercial, Mathew Tiller, said the timing of the auction allowed for divestors, investor and owner occupants to move forward into FY18-19 with confidence.
“The commercial property market has proved a resilient investment class over the last 12 months and we foresee this continuing into the new financial year,” Said Mr Tiller.
“LJ Hooker Commercial’s National Auction Event is the platform from which a diverse range of investors, divestors and owner-occupants can set themselves up for the coming year and beyond.”
Amongst the Sydney offerings, Paul Trachtenberg of LJ Hooker Commercial Sydney will be placing under the hammer a mixed-use freehold building in Darlinghurst’s Victoria Street.
Approved and fitted out for a restaurant and bar, the two-level building in the strip-retail precinct sits atop 121sqm of land with 200sqm of internal building.
While its amenities offer immediate usage as a hospitality venue, the property’s proximity to the Garvan Institute and St Vincent’s Hospital allows for repositioning for ancillary media facilities.
In Campbelltown, LJ Hooker Commercial Sydney Co-Director Steven Kruyer is managing the auction for a development site in Queen Street, close to the suburb’s Shopping Mall. The site currently includes three vacant buildings, but the sellers have developed a concept plan for 74 residential dwellings and 113sqm of commercial space.
Both properties and more lots will be auctioned at Level 6 / 9 Castlereagh Street Sydney at 10.30am on Thursday June 28.
At the same time, in Queensland, an entire office floor in the CBD’s Ann Street is being offered through LJ Hooker Commercial Brisbane’s Mumtaz Saleem.
The fully-leased office space generates $156,725 annually, is certified for training and education activities and includes three designated car spaces.
And in rural Park Ridge, a boarding kennel on a three-year lease is also being offered by Mr Saleem. Set across 37,400sqm, the facility is approved to accommodate up to 90 canines and includes a high-set three-bedroom home.
Both properties, and more, will be auctioned at 116 Ipswich Rd Woolloongabba at 11am on 28 June.
