Silverwater Commercial specialists reign in network honours
LJ Hooker Commercial Silverwater has again being awarded the real estate group’s top agency title amongst a host of accolades at the network’s annual NSW / ACT gala.
LJ Hooker Commercial Managing Director Mathew Tiller said the Parramatta Road agency was the undisputed benchmark in Sydney’s Central West.
Under the leadership of directors John Tanna, Marcel Elias and Peter Hanzis, LJ Hooker Commercial Silverwater’s team offered exemplary sales, leasing and asset management services to its clients, said Mr Tiller.
Indeed, the office’s Derick Jason was named the group’s Top Property Manager across NSW / ACT, while the agency also took out the Most Productive Team category.
Mr Tiller said: “The Most Productive team category is open to all commercial and residential agencies throughout the LJ Hooker group in New South Wales and the ACT. It recognises the agency which performed the most transactions per staff member.
“What makes the award even more impressive is the breadth of clients and listings the full-service agency manages: they’re trusted advisors, marketers and negotiators for high net worth investors through to developers, national operators and institutions.
It’s very pleasing to see Derick achieve recognition as well. He’s an exceptionally thorough property manager ensuring his landlords are compliant in their legal obligations and ensuring both the tenants and landlords’ needs are met. He plays an important role in optimising the assets of landlords, many of whom have found their investments courtesy of his colleagues.”
Sydney’s Central West corridor has been a dynamic market over the last year, said Mr Tiller.
“There’s obviously been a large amount of industrial withdrawals because of rezonings in the last three years, which has created a lot of upheaval in the sector. Amidst this shortage of stock, LJ Hooker Commercial Silverwater has been assisting landlords to divest for premiums, introduce new tenants to speculative developments, and assist owner-occupants to acquire premises in the low interest rate environment.
“This is now the sixth consecutive year in which LJ Hooker Commercial Silverwater has been named our Top Commercial Agency across NSW and the ACT. Each year the team sets new goals and standards for which their clients are the ultimate beneficiaries.”
Also at the awards, held at Sydney’s Star Casino, LJ Hooker Commercial Coffs Harbour’s Deb Grimley was named Top Salesperson across both residential and commercial agencies.
“Deb is a tireless worker in her marketplace. She’s one of the best connected commercial specialists in regional Australia,” said Mr Tiller.
LJ Hooker Commercial Silverwater’s Marcel Elias and John Tanna also received ‘Gold Medals’ on the night, representing the Top 0.5% of agents based on the value of property sold and leased over the last year. Ty Blanch, a co-principal of LJ Hooker Commercial Central Coast, received a Silver, representing the Top 1% of specialists.
